CSIR: Laser Engineering Services provide laser-based engineering solutions in the repair, refurbishment and manufacturing of components and equipment. This includes; Laser cladding, for laser weld build-up of damaged or faulty components; laser welding, for joining components with or without filler material; laser transformation hardening of carbon steels and 3D laser cutting of formed components. LES offers a mobile laser cladding service, which can be deployed on customer site for laser cladding repair and refurbishment. Other laser-based technologies offered by the CSIR include additive manufacturing and laser shock peening.
