Invest in your business – book a stand at KITE

The government’s re-industrialisation plans to modernise manufacturing, and build green industries and emerging technologies, are firmly underway. It is already developing an AI institute for advanced manufacturing, which would turn South Africa into a globally competitive player in the digital economy.

KwaZulu-Natal Industrial Technology Exhibition (KITE) provides a platform for product and service providers to engage with those players in the market who are an integral part of South Africa’s re-industrialisation.

Being held between 18 and 20 July 2023 at the Durban Exhibition Centre, KITE has served the industrial technology sector for four decades, making it the trusted choice in in-person brand development in KwaZulu-Natal.

KITE is the only event in KZN dedicated to the industrial technology and industrialisation industry, and it provides exhibitors with the optimum forum to meet the specifiers and decision-makers looking for these solutions. The expo has a proven reputation of attracting optimum target markets through a strategic marketing plan which kicks into action many months prior to the event and continues after the event ends.

“The KITE team is well versed in identifying show features that add value to exhibitors’ investment. One example is the KITE Seminar Theatre, which attracts hundreds of people wishing to enrich their knowledge. We are currently putting together a totally inclusive seminar programme that will address current technology trends, issues faced by the industry, and legislation,” says Charlene Hefer, Portfolio Director at Specialised Exhibitions — a division of Montgomery Group.

“We urge companies who manufacture or sell the technology required by organisations wishing to either equip, or upgrade their facilities, to book a stand at KITE 2023. We also have several sponsorship packages available for exhibitors, that will provide further impetus in their brand development efforts,” says Hefer.

Through its partnership with a number of leading industry associations — that include SAIMechE (The South African Institution of Mechanical Engineering), LEEASA (Lifting Equipment Engineering Association of South Africa), Mesa (Manufacturing Enterprise Solutions Association) Africa, Saiosh (South African Institute of Occupational Safety & Health), SACEEC (SA Capital Equipment Export Council) and the SAIMC (Society for Automation, Instrumentation, Mechatronics and Control) NPC — KITE reaches a vast number of potential buyers across several market sectors that include chemical/petrochemical, manufacturing & engineering, agriculture, forestry & fishing, and mining & quarrying.
